Knight Frank, the leading independent global property consultancy, is pleased to announce job promotions of Patrick Mak and Steve Ng with effect from 1 July 2022. It is an important step in supporting Knight Frank’s growing strategies in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).  

The promotions are as follows:

• Patrick Mak has been promoted to Managing Director, Head of Office Strategy & Solutions, Greater Bay Area

• Steve Ng has been promoted to Senior Director, Head of Kowloon Office Strategy & Solutions

Patrick Mak has been promoted to Managing Director, Head of Office Strategy & Solutions, Greater Bay Area. With 20 years of experience, Patrick leads our newly formed Greater Bay Area Office Strategy & Solutions (OSS) team, overseeing our OSS teams in Kowloon, Shenzhen and Guangzhou. He will be responsible for developing commercial real estate strategies and solutions for occupiers and landlords. While growing our GBA market presence, Patrick will work closely alongisde Wendy Lau who heads our Hong Kong OSS team.  Both Patrick and Wendy will report directly to Paul Hart, Managing Director, Commercial Markets. 

Since joining Knight Frank in mid-2016, Patrick has successfully established our Kowloon OSS team and significantly grown the department’s market presence and built an impressive track record. Some of his recent successes include DHL’s regional headquarter relocation to Manulife Place, ARUP’s regional headquarter renewal and restructuring in Festival Walk, Fugro’s office consolidation into Fugro House KCC2. He has also been instrumental in helping DHL’s offices relocation in Guangzhou and Beijing, Hapag Lloyd’s office relocation in Zhongshan and Hallmark’s office relocation in Shenzhen.    

Steve Ng has been promoted to Senior Director, Head of Kowloon Office Strategy & Solutions. He has 20 years of leasing experience serving MNC clients. His recent successes include Calvin Klein's office renewal and restructuring in Harbourfront Tower and Panasonic's office relocation in Grand Century Place. Steve’s strategic negotiations and analytical skills are well-known in the market. In his new role, he oversees the Kowloon OSS team to further expand market share while delivering customised solutions to our clients.  In his new role, Steve will report directly to Patrick Mak.
