Knight Frank received the top real estate awards from the RICS for the ninth year in a row. At the RICS Hong Kong Annual Presentation Ceremony 2020 held yesterday, Knight Frank was awarded Professional Consultancy Services Team of the Year for the sixth time and received a Certificate of Excellence for Refurbishment / Revitalisation Team of the Year and Certificate of Excellence for Young Surveyor of the Year for Sharon Hung, Director, Capital Markets. These awards recognise our determination, excellence and professionalism which enable us to provide top-notch services to our clients.

Winner for Professional Consultancy Services Team of the Year- TST Underground Studies
The Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) underground space development will be the first implementation of the long-planned Underground Space Development pilot study led by the Civil Engineering and Development Department and Planning Department.
Knight Frank and AECOM are facilitating this complex landmark project through seamless collaboration and have successfully completed the conceptual scheme after two rounds of public engagement. With a focus on preservation and sustainability, the proposed scheme will improve the quality of life in TST by boosting connectivity, relieving congestion, revitalising natural spaces, and enriching the area with new public and commercial spaces.
Certificate of Excellence for Refurbishment / Revitalisation Team of the Year – Zung Fu House
Knight Frank joined forces with Aedas for the pioneering redevelopment of 60 Ka Yip Street, Chai Wan – an aging godown with 400,000 sq ft GFA. Not only is the newly converted Zung Fu House a modern car and lifestyle centre with interactive customer services, it is also home to the state-of-the-art high-tech modern operations of the client’s esteemed business partners, Mercedes-Benz and Schindler.
Knight Frank captured the project's redevelopment potential through in-depth analysis, completed the change of land use application, and secured a significant reduction in land premium, while Aedas creatively crafted the building’s new, modern and high-tech design that utilises many of the building’s existing features.
Certificate of Excellence Young Surveyor of the Year: Sharon Hung MRICS
After just six years in the industry, Sharon Hung, Director of Capital Markets, has used her unique skillset to amass an impressive track record exceeding HKD11 billion gaining recognition from her clients and colleagues.
With expertise spanning technical advisory and agency services, Sharon has accumulated extensive experience across land administration, valuation, feasibility studies, financial analysis, and development control. In her four years at Knight Frank, Sharon has risen to become the youngest female Director in our Hong Kong office.

The RICS Hong Kong Awards celebrate excellence, professionalism, achievement, and overall contribution to our built environment. Nominated projects have all displayed outstanding performance in professionalism, outcome and achievement, teamwork and innovation. Only the top contributors to the property industries are awarded as winner. This is the 9th consecutive year in which RICS presented the Annual Awards in Hong Kong. The awards presentation ceremony was held on Monday 7 December 2020 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Hong Kong.
