Knight Frank launches new development in historic Cambridge – Station Square

28 February 2019
Station Square consists of two distinct buildings offering stylish, modern living in a superb central location. The scheme forms the residential focal point of the exciting, new quarter CB1. This major regeneration zone is an established mixed use community with a choice of popular coffee shops, bars, stylish dining, independent cafes and authentic global street food. CB1 is also home to two of the world’s leading tech firms in Microsoft and Amazon, as well the global consulting firm Deloitte.

Each of the modern one and two bedroom apartments at Station Square boasts a light, flexible open plan design with contemporary specification, sleek finishes and elegant decor. Many benefit from private outside space in the form of a balcony or terrace. Features include Forest Oak doors, double glazed timber windows, a choice of designer kitchens by Oakwood kitchens, and a secure entry system.

Cambridge is instantly recognisable as a city of dramatic architecture, attractive cobbled streets and swathes of green open space, as well as the world-famous University. The area also offers some of England’s finest countryside moments from your door, including some fantastic golf courses and punting and boating on the River Cam. Just north of the city centre, Cambridge Science Park is an impressive 150-acre site that is home to over 100 entrepreneurial companies ranging from start-ups to global technology businesses such as Huawei.

Mei Han Wong, Executive Director, Head of International Residential Sales at Knight Frank commented, “Cambridge remains one the most desirable cities in the UK with an incredibly robust property market, due to its world-renowned University, access into Central London, thriving economy and beautiful setting. A lack of supply of new build properties in the centre of Cambridge, teamed with a huge student population and young, affluent workforce, has resulted in excellent capital appreciation and strong rental yields for property investors.

Station Square has excellent transport links with Cambridge train station just 30 seconds away, and direct trains to London King’s Cross taking just 47 minutes. For international travel, Cambridge International Airport located 10 mins away, and Stansted Airport with flight connections into Europe can be reached in under 30 mins.

Prices at Station Square start at £365,000.

The first homes are due for completion from Spring 2020.
