Knight Frank Global Residential Cities Index Q3 2018

Results for Q3 2018:
On average, global prices increased by 4.5% year on year with 123 cities registering a rise in residential prices over a 12-month period
Asia-Pacific remains the top-performing world region, with a 6.2% increase over the 12-month period to Q3 2018, up from 3.3% a year ago
Xi’an tops the index this quarter, registering an annual price growth of 20%, almost twice the rate of growth of Changsha (10.9%), China’s second strongest-performing city
Major Australian cities Sydney (-4.4%), Melbourne (-1.5%) and Perth (-0.5%) all recorded price declines in the last quarter
