Conversant with land and lease restriction, our team often works with architects and town planners in securing building plans approval and town planning board approval. We specialise in premium and waiver fee negotiation supported by in-depth research and market intelligence, and advise major developers, fund managers, utility companies and private landlords on all lease and rating issues.
Since 2000, we have provided litigation support services in no less than 40 property development projects with a total value at over HK$4 billion, including the high profile case of no. 20 Caine Road.
In the last five years, our Land Advisory Services team has concluded approximately 45 land exchanges, 80 lease modifications, 100 waiver applications and 2,000 rating appeals. We have saved our clients over HK$2 billion on land premium, waiver fees and rates payments.
Knight Frank has been appointed by the Government of HKSAR on various Government project studies including the West Kowloon Cultural District for which we act as land advisor. We have also worked on all major railway projects advising on development potential, planning, density issues, development mix and financial feasibility including West Rail, East Rail Extension, Shatin Central Link, Kennedy Town Extension and Express Rail Link.
