Knight Frank has received the RICS award for the third year in a row. At the RICS Hong Kong Awards 2014, Knight Frank is named Professional Services Team of the Year for the first time and Residential Agency Team of the Year for the third straight year. The awards recognise our innovation, professionalism, diversity and heritage which enable us to provide a comprehensive service.

Professional Services Team Award
For over 40 years in Hong Kong, Knight Frank has advised government, landlords, investors, financers and end-users. In 2013, Knight Frank advised majority owners in compulsory sale applications on 18 cases representing roughly 75% market share. In addition, Knight Frank has been commissioned to apply for special waivers for the revitalisation of 12 whole buildings in 2013, will result in 3.3 million sq ft of underutilised industrial space being revitalised into modern commercial premises. Knight Frank was reappointed as Real Estate Consultancy for Central Police Station for a fourth time.
Residential Agency Team of the Year
Knight Frank has been awarded the Residential Agency Team of the Year for the third straight year since the award was introduced in 2012. The jurors were impressed by Knight Frank’s innovation through the use of technology platforms with strong customer diversity. In 2013, Knight Frank’s Residential team completed 180 local residential sales and lease transactions, 107 local lease renewals and 1,167 local serviced apartment transactions. During 2013, our International Project Marketing Department rolled out 17 international projects for 14 overseas developers, concluding 235 deals in excess of £175 million total gross sales value.

First founded in 2012, RICS Hong Kong Awards is organised by RICS - Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in land, property and construction. The annual awards aim to acknowledge the contributions and outstanding performances delivered in the industry. With prominence and industry recognition, the awards have received tremendous support from real estate-related organisations and have received a total of 36 nominations. The awards evening was held on Thursday 20 March 2014 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong Kong.
